Help for Smart Quotes

Before you use the front end, you must load the module
SmartQuote. It would be nice if you could get the
computer to load it for you. Alas, I have tried
everything, but Acorns Obey thingumy just simply
refuses to allow it. Sorry! If anyone finds a neat way
of doing it then let me know, please!

                   ---------------

This application intercepts key presses and attempts
to intelligently convert any quotation marks which are
typed into their open or closing counterparts.
For instance:
"Hello, what's that?"
Would be converted into:
Hello, whats that?

The application loads the module SmartQuotes when it
is booted. This shouldnt (in theory) do anything
until either the main program is loaded, or Quotes
ON is typed at the command line.

When the program is loaded you can use Interactive
Help to find out about what it does. Basically, select
on the icon toggles the quote conversion on and off,
while adjust will bring up a window containing
quotation marks which can be inserted directly at the
caret by clicking on them (a bit like !Chars).

If the application is Quit it turns conversion off and
quits the module. If Hide is selected from the menu,
the front end program will be quit, but it will leave
conversion on if this was the most recent state.

When the application is quit, the module still accepts
the commands:
Quotes On
Quotes Off
To turn conversion On and Off.

Personally, I leave the module in my boot file and
dont use the front end at all.

The program unfortunately is not totally foolproof,
and so will not always give you the quotation marks
which you actually want. If this happens the only
thing you can do is go back and change them youself. I
hope it works correctly most of the time though!

One last thing, The program only works when you are
in the desktop. If you leave the desktop, the program
will de-activate itself as soon as it realises!
