RiscKiSS is a Kisekae Set System for RiscOS 3.5 or higher (incl. StrongARM).
It accepts KiSS data conform to KiSS/GS 4 and supports French KiSS extensions.

Requirements
------------
For sound support you need the PlaySample module 2.45 or later. It is part of
the excellent FREEWARE application !SoundCon 1.60 from Rick Hudson. But
RiscKiSS will run well without it.

Most KiSS sets will cause problems with the 10 characters / 77 entry limit.
You'll have to use an imagefile system. The use of SparkFS is recommended.
That allows you to handle the original lzh archives directly.

If you have enough harddisc space, you can use X-Files or DOSFS. That will
speed up loading and sample playback.

Some KiSS Data requires a huge amount of memory. There will be no problem
with 8MB + 2MB VRAM.

Manual
------

This application is Style Guide conform. So all the normal things will work.

KiSS sets can be loaded in different ways:
- double clicking the CNF file
- dragging the CNF file
- dragging the hole directory that contains all KiSS Data
- dragging the archive (requires SparkFS)
- dragging the x-file (requires X-Files)

RiscKiSS will search for the CNF file and load it instantly. If there's more
than one, you'll get a small load menu. The loading process may take some
time. Enjoy the hourglass.

Once the window shows up, you can drag objects around the screen with the
mouse, but some objects are at fixed positions. The current drag can be
aborted by pressing ESC. Useful if you have dragged the wrong cel. Be careful,
if you want to drag a cel with a checkered mask (e.g. semi-transparent
sunglasses) you must click on one of the solid pixels.

The yellow numbers select one of the available sets. Those multicolored boxes
shows the available palette goups. Up to ten of each may be present. The logo
resets all sets to the initial positions defined in the CNF file.

Closing the window will remove all data from memory (as recommended in the
Style Guide).

IconBarMenu:
Info - The standard info box.
Quit - Quits RiscKiSS.

Main Menu:
Info
Cels is the total number of cels.
Bytes used to store the cels. It's the size of the spritefile.
Width and heigth are the dimensions of the kisekae screen.

Save
Saves the spritefile containing the cels. Each sprite is named with its
filename, since KiSS Data uses DOS filename conventions.

You can also save the hole screen. This will be a mode 28 sprite with
 true-colour palette.

Note: The config file can not be saved. Maybe in a future version.

French KiSS
You can disable the interpreting of these extensions. Only available when
 they are used.
