ReadMe file for PW_list
=======================

This application is designed to list the contents of the password file on
the Level 3.xx or FileStore servers:- Privileged users to use this only,
and no responsibility is accepted by LDGE for its misuse (that's not to
say all you peeps can't misuse it!).

When the application invokes (put it in any directory you like), you will
be asked what type of printer you would like. Answer 'N' if you do not wish
to print the list. If you wish to print it locally (i.e. a printer plugged
into the computer on which the program is running), then type 'L'. If you
want it printed at the network printer server (station 0.235 by default)
then type 'S'. This prompt IS NOT case-sensitive.

You will then be asked for the name of the password file you wish to
examine. By default this is $.PASSWORDS:- The network passwords file. I
do not recommended reading this file when the network is busy, as this
may cause a serious crash. Far better to copy the passwords file to your
directory and then run the program using the copy (enter the filename at
the prompt). If you press <RETURN> at the filename prompt this is done
automatically and the copied file used for examination.

By the way, I haven't got spark, so create a directory !PW_list and stuff
the contents of this archive in it. Should work fine then.

ENCLOSED FILES: !Run (bootfile)
                pw_list (BASIC code)
                !Sprites (pretty picture <yughh>)
!Read_Me (this masterwork of English Literature)
                Sample_PWF (A sample password file)
