OldCDFS!! v. 1.14 - a utility to unplug a later version of CDFS and replace
it with version 2.29 from RISC OS 3.7.

This version of this utility is for use with RISC OS 4.xx only.

If you wish to install it permanently, it should be installed in
!Boot.Choices.Boot.PreDesk on RISC OS 4.0x or in
!Boot.Choices.Users.Single.Boot.PreDesk with Select.

If you have a SCSI CD drive you may need to kill CDFSSoftATAPI, if it causes
a conflict with your SCSI driver.

If you have an IDE CD drive and you are using RISC OS 4.0x you may wish to
replace CDFSSoftATAPI with an earlier version. See the !Run file for
information on how to do this.

If you have been using an earlier version of OldCdfs!!, with Unplug, you first
need to restore the ROM CDFS module as follows:

First delete the existing version of OldCdfs!!
Now press F12 to go to the command line and type

  RMKill CDFS <Return>
  RMReInit CDFS <Return>
help cdfs <Return> to confirm that the CDFS module is no longer v. 2.29

If you have *unplugged any of the other modules, you will need to RMReInit
    them in a similar fashion

Press <Return> to return to the desktop

Now you can use this version of OldCDFS!!

Alternatively, you could use the Obey file ~newCDFS to do this. It has been
included so that you can easily revert to the 'ROM' version of CDFS, should
the need arise.

RMKill is used now rather than Unplug, as Unplug works with the module number,
which may change between versions of the OS, whereas RMKill uses the module
name. Another advantage is that the effect of RMKill only lasts until the
computer is switched off or reset. So this version could be kept in your
Utilities folder and only used when needed. In this case, when it is needed just click on the !Run file. To revert to the 'ROM' version, click ~newCDFS.
