Help for !MultiAudio.

Running !MultiAudio puts an icon on the icon-bar.

This program provides six options for batch conversion of audio files.
These six options are available from the main window or icon-bar menu.

The program will convert either -

    (1) a group of MP3 files to WAV format files.
These can then be used with !CDBurn, for example.

OR (2) a group of MP3 files to FLAC format files.
FLAC is a lossless format i.e no loss of sound quality, but
saves on disc space. They are playable on !DigitalCD.

OR (3) a group of WAV files to FLAC format files.

OR (4) a group of FLAC files to WAV format files.
(!CDBurn unfortunately can not use FLAC files.)

OR (5) a group of WAV/CD-RAW/Data files to MP3 format files.

OR (6) a group of CD-RAW/Data files to WAV format files.

Clicking <Select> on the icon-bar icon opens the main window.
From here you can choose one of the above audio file conversions, by
clicking one of the six 'radio' icons.

Clicking <Menu> on the icon-bar also enables you to choose one of the
above audio file conversions, as well as the usual Info, Help and Quit
options.

The default is 'MP3 to WAV' batch conversion.

From the main window there are just 2 simple steps -

a) First you must create an empty Directory to hold the generated output
files. Type a suitable name in the writeable-icon (or use the default
name "New") and then just drag the directory-icon to your chosen
   destination.
Note: since these files can get quite large it is probably best to
not choose the RAM disc as a destination.

b) Secondly drag a group of input files (either MP3, WAV or RAW) to the main
   window.

Files of the wrong type will not be accepted.

That's it !

Conversion of the files now begins immediately - it uses the enclosed
'madplay' or 'flac' or 'shine' applications to do the hard work.
 This can take some time.

Note: each converted file will have the same name as the original file.

A progress counter gives information on the current status of conversion,
compared with the total number in the original group (- also displayed).
