!MathChars
==========

   Introduction:

   Being a maths student (don't all run away, now), I occasionally find that I want to do some DTP with maths characters in it. This was difficult, as I had to make up a table showing which character on the keyboard matched the character in the anti-aliased font I was using at the time. The only other thing I had to help was !1stChars, which lists all the characters in the system font in a window.

   Usage:

   !MathChars displays all the non-keyboard characters for three anti-aliased fonts: Trinity, MathGreek, and Sussex (because it has some set notation in it). It doesn't set the font you are using when you click on any of the windows, so be careful when you use it, as you may end up with the wrong font, but the right character.

   Clicking with select opens all the windows, and with adjust closes them all. Single windows may be opened from the main menu, which appears over any of the windows and the icon bar.

   Bugs:

   There are no known bugs with this program, but I did make a bit of a mistake with the window templates. All the icons have to be stored in the wimp sprite pool, and there are a lot of them. Hopefully, when you quit the program, it tidies up after itself, so I think it's OK.

   Note also that Edit doesn't print characters in the range &80-&BF, so if it looks like the font isn't defined for those characters and you want to use them, stop using Edit.

   With luck/perseverance/time or death threats, I may rewrite this in ARM code, to take up less room. I may even write it as a module, but I doubt it.

   Thanks to whoever it was that wrote the DisplayMod module through which you are (probably) reading this message now.
