			Local Display 2.00
			==================

*** WARNING ***

The "Local Display" patch has been written for Filer 1.97 (the one in
RISC OS 4.02). If you have another version of the Filer module, DO NOT
USE THIS PATCH, otherwise your machine will certainly crash, or worse,
you may lose data, your hard disc may be corrupted, etc. If you really
want to use it, do this AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Note that the "Local Display" module does not test the version of Filer,
because it may work with other versions (in case the filer workspace has
the same structure). It is also easier to patch it for other versions of
the Filer module...

--------

The "Local Display" patch allows you to set display options (Display
submenu) locally to a filer window: the new filer windows will use the
previous (global) choices.

By default, you will have to use a special key (by default, Shift) to
set these options locally. You can invert this behaviour (or see the
current behaviour) with the *LocalDisplay command:
  *LocalDisplay On --> local by default (without the special key).
  *LocalDisplay Off --> global by default (without the special key).
  *LocalDisplay      --> current behaviour.

You can change the special key with the *LocalDisplaySKey command, by
giving the key code in argument. Use this command with no arguments to
display the current key code. The main key codes are:

        Shift  Ctrl  Alt
L & R     0     1     2
Left      3     4     5
Right     6     7     8
