  !Help for !ListDir+ :
  =====================

Double-click on !ListDir+ to load the application onto the iconbar.

There are two parts to this application -

  1) Clicking <Select> on the iconbar-icon will open the 'Catalogue'
window where various options can be chosen.

Dragging a Directory (or Application) to the iconbar-icon or the
'Catalogue' window will generate a catalogue of all its files.
If you drag a file instead then the parent directory of that
     file will be used.

This will appear firstly within a Desktop window and then after
a short time in an 'Edit' window. This catalogue can then be
saved as a text file (for a permanent record).

The Catalogue layout is determined by the chosen option -

     a) Standard layout - the usual *CAT listing i.e the files within
subdirectories and applications are not displayed.
     b) The files within all the subdirectories are also displayed,
but not the files within applications.
     c) All the files inside each subdirectory and application are
        displayed.

There is also an option to give an itemized count of all the
subdirectories and applications within the current directory.
However this does slow down the response somewhat.

The 'Full DateAtamp ?' option will include the Time-of-Day as
well as the Date (the default is Date only).

You can also choose the parent of the current directory - this
current directory is shown in the 'Path =' icon at the bottom.

If you make any option changes then clicking 'New List ? OK'
     will update the Catalogue display.

  2) Clicking <Adjust> on the iconbar-icon opens the 'CSD' window
where the current CSD is shown. This window can be used to
     set the CSD.

Holding <Shift> while dragging a Directory (or Application) to
the iconbar-icon or dragging to the 'CSD' window will set the
     CSD to this directory.
If you drag a file instead then the parent directory of that
file will be set as the CSD.

NOTE: dragging a group of directories to the iconbar-icon works
well and gives the expected results.
