LEDScroll : Version 0.30 (14 Feb 2012)
======================================
By Michael J. Foot

LEDScroll will display a scrolling message of your choice in a window on the RISC OS desktop similar to those used for advertising purposes.
To load the program simply double click the !LEDScroll icon and a copy will appear on the icon bar.
Clicking the select button over the iconbar icon will cause the text window to appear. A default message will appear which will scroll from left to right.
To display your own mesage in the window, use a suitable text editor to create a file that contains your message. Save this text file to disc and then drag it onto the LEDScroll iconbar icon. The existing message will clear and your chosen message will appear. The text file must not exceed 4096 bytes.

You may like to change the default LED sprites. To do this examine the file 'Sprites' in the LEDScroll directory by loading it into Paint. When you design your own sprite it must have exactly the same name as the sprite it is replacing. It can be of any size as long as the 'ledblack' sprite is also this size and that the total size of the sprite file does not exceed 4096 bytes.

You can also change the text style that is used. The program uses the currently loading BBC font so loading a new one will change the text style used.

The Main Menu
-------------
1) Info   ->
   Leads off to a window which contains the usual information about this program.

2) Options
   Allows you to specify how LEDScroll will display your message.
   Delay: This is the delay in centiseconds between each scroll step. The lower the number , the faster it will scroll.
   LED Colour: Clicking the menu icon to the right will give you a list from which you can choose what colour the LEDs will show as.

3) Pause
   This stops the message from scrolling until this option is selected again.

4) Quit
   Shuts down LEDScroll.
