Some really ancient history:

=============================================================================
Version 10
	Completed 26th November 1998

=============================================================================
Version 110 (28th November 1998)
	Added Select all option (a lot harder than I thought)
	Tried to ensure that all files are closed properly after errors occur
Version 111 (30th November 1998)
	Converted help file to StrongHelp format
	Added Save choices option. Quiet output now applies during compression as well as decompression.

=============================================================================
Version 120 (2nd December 1998)
	Added option to navigate 'directory structure' by double-clicking on icons
	Made zipfile catalogue scanning routine a *lot* faster by not closing and then reopening the file every time the window was redrawn
	Stopped long filenames from corrupting icons
	Added 3 duplicate options to iconbar menu
Version 121 (3rd December 1998)
	cured a window title bug which made the program crash when 'opening' a directory with large numbers of files.
	Prevented two copies from running simultaneously (both used to crash!)
	Completely rewrote the help file (again!)
	Added option to claim Archive filetype.
Version 122 (11th December 1998)
	Finally got program to delete and recreate its 'filer' window in the proper size. (This doesn't seem stable)
	Fixed bug where program forgot which 'level' of the zip file it was on when you double-clicked in a real Filer window.
Version 123 (21st December 1998)
	Learned how to alter a window's worksize without deleting it, thus fixing bug introduced above
	Finally fixed savebox bug (this has been hanging around since 10)
	Patched bug where dragging a selection of files confuses the program (now just ignores all but first file)
	Reduced the (completely unnecessary) width of the iconbar icon
Version 123 (27th December 1998)
	Beta version seems stable now.
	Fixed bug where window always opened further up the screen after resizing, causing a steady 'crawl' upwards

=============================================================================
Version 130 (1st January 1999)
	You may now add files to any sub-directory of a zipfile, not just to the root directory.
	Window titles truncated to fit titlebar. Should now work with desktop fonts.
	Iconbar text no longer corrupted on mode change.
	Now obeys Desktop Save protocol.
Version 131 (12th January 1999)
	Fixed desktop font bug where certain title lengths caused an endless loop
	Fixed very long-standing bug during listing of zipfile catalogue which only became apparent when files were added to subdirectories and not just to the root directory.
	Moved the check for two copies into an error box under the control of Infozip rather than of the Wimp, thus allowing me to provide an option to override this warning.
	Added hourglass while reading catalogue file
	Adjusted catalogue reading procedure to allow for the possibility of files larger than 10Mbytes(!)
	Iconbar text changes to "Busy" during zipping/unzipping
	Taskwindows now have names e.g. "Infozip (zipping)"

=============================================================================
Version 140 (13th January 1999)
	Finally worked out the convoluted syntax for the 'delete' option. Infozip can now delete from zipfiles! Deleting the entire contents of a zipfile is not a good idea yet, though.
	Iconised windows now have proper icons.
Version 141 (23rd January 1999)
	Found (and I think fixed) a bug causing Infozip to crash whenever changing the "Delete" menu entry happened to over-write an important portion of memory!
Version 142 (28th January 1999)
	Clicking on the iconbar icon during the actual zipping/unzipping process no longer reopens the savebox window.
Version 143 (1st February 1999)
	By request; you can now 'create' new directories in a zipfile (but why would you want to?)

=============================================================================
Version 150 (3rd February 1999)
	Application now loads automatically when you double-click on an Archive (&DDC) file. If this causes problems, comment out the relevant line in the !Infozip.!Boot file.
	added "Clear selection" option to menu and generally rearranged it a bit.
	"Delete" option now greyed out when not applicable (used to delete files at random!).
Version 151 (28th February 1999)
	Very minor change - iconbar text now reset from 'Busy' back to 'Zip' if load fails.
Version 152 (10th March 1999)
	Some changes in error messages. Infozip can now cope with zipfiles which have had advertisements and other extraneous matter inserted into the zipfile catalogue! Better handling of errors reported by back-end Info-ZIP routines.
Version 153 (18th March 1999)
	Now imitates Filer behaviour when dragging a selection of files (i.e. 'package' displayed on RISC-OS 35 or greater, rotating dash-box retained under RISC-OS 31)
Version 154 (29th March 1999)
	Info-ZIP *zip* routine requires zipfile to be in CSD before wild-carded deletes (i.e. deletes of a directory and anything in it) can be carried out. I assume this is a bug, since deleting any single file works as expected whatever the CSD setting. This was causing some very obscure errors! Program duly amended to work around bug.
Version 155 (28th April 1999)
	Infozip now attempts to restore the CSD to its previous setting after it has altered it.

=============================================================================
Version 200 (6th May 1999)  ** MAJOR REVISION **
	Added a Configure window and removed the Options and Save options entries from the iconbar menu, as the decompression options are now set and saved from the Configure window.
	You can now double-click on files in order to read them! Holding down SHIFT will force the file to be loaded into a text editor even if it is not a text file. (Probably a good idea, unless you're certain it's not a machine code/BASIC/Obey file of some kind...)
	Provided 'alert box' to report completed tasks, instead of using Wimp error boxes.
	By request: option to bring the Filer window containing new zipfile to the front when zipping is complete, as well as opening zipfile contents window. Only works when you drag files to the iconbar, not when you add them to the contents window.
	Infozip now warns of non-zip archives and other compressed filetypes, instead of bringing up a savebox for anything dragged to the iconbar which it cannot unzip.
	A new 'File' (or 'Dir' if appropriate) submenu has been provided, with the options 'Delete' (moved from main menu) and 'Info' which opens a window giving information on the object's date and size. The size is given in a sensible format (Acorn please note!)
	Dragging files into the contents window while holding down SHIFT now 'moves' them into the zipfile instead of 'copying' them (i.e. the original file is deleted after being zipped). Use with care! Note that you can't 'move' files *out* of the zipfile.
	Infozip can now handle empty zipfiles (those created by Infozip and SparkFS at any rate). As a result it is now possible to create a new, empty, zip archive from the iconbar menu. (Much harder than I expected!)
	Added a specific check to prevent applications attempting to save into the contents window via <Wimp$Scrap>. (It doesn't work, and can crash Infozip).
	Fixed bug where double-clicking on a zip file caused Infozip to be launched with a Wimpslot of 640k.
Version 201 (8th May 1999)
	Fixed bug causing alert box to close instantly when Acorn's interactive Help is being used.
	Fixed bug which generated an error every time any application loaded <Wimp$Scrap>
	Infozip now checks for compressed files when they are dragged to the contents window as well as to the iconbar.
	Keypresses in the Configure window now work as expected.

=============================================================================
Version 210 (21st May 1999)
	By request: Infozip now looks for the Info-ZIP routines in the Library directory before looking in !Infozip.Routines.
	Changed the way compressed filetypes are checked. Should work better now.
	Savebox no longer proposes the name of the last file dragged to the iconbar as the name of the new archive when you use this menu option. However, the text is reset to new/zip every time you open the savebox, which could prove even more annoying
Version 211 (27th May 1999)
	This version distributed with 'new' (Zip v22 and Unzip v532) version of the Info-ZIP routines. Fix for 'wild-carded delete' bug (versions 154 and later) no longer required duly removed.
	Infozip no longer crashes very messily if you double-click on a file or attempt to decompress more files while the taskwindow is still running it just gives an error message.
	Navigating up and down directory levels while the taskwindow is running no longer causes Infozip to 'forget' which level the object currently being decompressed was on, which would cause an error when it attempted to move it out of Infoscrap:temp.

=============================================================================
Version 220 (28th May 1999)
	Infozip can now create self-extracting archives! Note that these only self-extract on RISC-OS computers.
	Changed filetype <checking=>techcheck> again to handle self-extracting archives. (Now checks the end instead of the start of a file). As a side-effect of this, Infozip now handles zipfiles with the wrong filetype (i.e. DOS zipfiles, files on CD-ROM) correctly again. (This facility had been accidentally removed by the major alterations in version 20 of Infozip)!
	Removed a bug introduced by an earlier bugfix
	If anyone has got zipsplit working from the command-line, they might find the new Join program in !Infozip.Routines useful. Like the zip/unzip/unzipsfx routines, it can be moved to your Library directory if this is more convenient.
	Moved *Zip options* back onto the iconbar menu.
Version 221 (10th June 1999)
	There are still some puzzling bugs hanging around possibly related to the new Zip routine. Hence this beta release.
	Program adapted to use v350 of the "Dr Wimp" library.
	Bad key handling corrected. Infozip now responds to Wimp shutdown.
	!Infozip.Resources.Messages now used for almost all messages; the principal omission is the messages for the alert box, for technical reasons.
	Improved error handling (again!). Also restored error handlers 'temporarily' removed for debugging purposes during development of version 20!
	Decompressing of files by double-clicking on them improved; no longer crashes when filenames have a DOS extension (i.e. /TXT) or are located in the root directory of the zipfile.
	Use of hourglass greatly extended.
Version 222 (21st March 2000)
	Program now reports an error instead of hanging the computer if you attempt to save out of the Infozip contents window directly into another program.
	By request: new option in Configure window to switch off automatic conversion of output zipfile names into DOS 6.3 format. Existing !Infozip.Resources.Config files will not be compatible with this change and MUST BE DELETED.
Version 223 (27th June 2000)
	Finally tracked down and fixed annoying "Can't move file X to destination; open viewer on temporary directory?" error sometimes generated when double-clicking on a file to decompress it.
	It has been pointed out to me that DOS filename format is actually 8.3 <blush>. Duly amended. Note however that if you are saving to an ADFS disc which does not support long filenames, the /zip extension may get truncated.
Version 224 (12th July 2000)
	Upgraded error handling: most 'handle is illegal or has been closed' errors should have been eliminated.
	'Select all' and 'Clear selection' entries in contents menu are now greyed out as appropriate
	Attempting to create a new archive with the 'Select all' option active no longer causes a crash.
	Fixed vile bug causing all attempts at unzipping to fail if the 'New archive' savebox had been displayed.

=============================================================================
Version 230 (23rd July 2000)
	Implemented machine-code routine to scan catalogue file - up to 200% speed increase.
	Added 'Back to top' option to contents window menu. Shortcut to reopen 'root' directory of zipfile.
	Clipping of filename in file info window altered to take account of width of desktop font.
Version 231 (25th July 2000)
	Fixed bug affecting archives where both zip archive and file within had the same name.
	'Convert text files to LF' now switched off by default.
