Intro

This is just some info about the HTML graphics template "Uplo". It's an
example page showing what kind of page you can create when you
combine various aspects of the HTML program, a couple of bits of
freeware, and some imagination...

You need certain tools to create pages using the HTML template graphics
- and luckily they're all easily within your grasp!

* A copy of !HTML
* A copy of !Paint
* Some 16 colour palette files, and preferably a 16 colour palette
  editor. For example, the palettes that come with !HTML and the
  palette editor on the Effects window!
* A copy of InterGIF

All you have to do to get the graphics ready for use:

* Load the graphic of your choice into !Paint (for instance,
  a bar from the Furniture directory.

* If necessary, double-click on the image's thumbnail to open it -
  this is automatic in later versions of !Paint when there's only
  one image in the file.

* Drop one of the palette files - for instance, Sepia - onto the
  image that you've opened. You should see the graphic change from
  dull greys to shades of brown.

* Save the image back to disk - if you don't want to overwrite the
  original image file, why not create a RAM disk for the job?

* Use InterGIF to convert the image to a GIF - due to the way the
  images were created, you don't need to change any of the default
  InterGIF options to get perfect GIFs.
