		view your fonts easily!

   Preamble

I've needed a program like this for a while now. What it does is let you
have a look at the fonts you have on your system. Nothing special, but it
does the job.

   Use

Well, it's obvious enough. Anyhow, the only bit that you might be put off by
is that the numbers on the right-hand side will change the contents of the
'Size' display. If you want to refresh the display, click on 'Try It!' A
doddle, really.

   Future

Nowt really. Contact me if you have any ideas.

   DLMlib

This program was written using a programming library called DLMlib.

DLMlib is a set of shared resources by Keith Gaughan. It supports Panes &
MessageTrans. You should be able to obtain it from any good PD library or
from HENSA. Alternatively, you could contact the author using one of the
methods below. Note that if you contact him by post, you should send a disc
(any density) and a stamped, addressed envelope.

This application supports the desktop save protocol and interactive help.

Both DLMlib and this application have only been tested on the author's
RISC OS 3.10 A3010 due to a drought of Acorn-owning friends and for this
reason, it is not guaranteed to work on every version of RISC OS.

   History

001 First version. Decent enough, I think.
(22-Jan-1998)

002 Heh, heh! Hmm, I did something rather stupid - I forgot to
(29-Jan-1998)	pass on all keypresses so if the window had the input focus
you couldn't even start up the CLI shell. Duh!

010 Now wired for DLMlib!
(17-Feb-1998)

012 Used my new font menu managment procedures instead of Joris
(8-Mar-1998)	Rling's FontMenu module. Much tidier, and it looks more
		RISC OS compliant too.

013 Call me a thick git, but I forgot to deregister the font on
(11-Mar-1998)	shutdown. Licence changed from FDFP to Freeware.

014 It now takes advantage of some of the changes I've made to
(1-May-1998)	the way in which DLMlib handles fonts - not really a major
change, but it solves for good the problems solved in the
last version and you can now use fonts if you want in the
		templates.
