                              DISC COMMANDER CONDITIONS OF USE
                              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   1994-2001 Paul Vigay
The 'Unregistered' version of Disc Commander is SHAREWARE.
This means that you are free to copy it and distribute it as much as you like,
subject to the following conditions being obeyed at all times:-
a) None of the files are deleted or altered in any way.
b) No part of Disc Commander may be reproduced in any form, or incorporated
   into any other programs without the express written permission from the
   author.
c) No profit should be made from sales of Disc Commander.
   Public Domain and Shareware libraries should consult me before
   permission is granted to include in libraries. This also ensures that
   I know who has the latest version.
d) If you like Disc Commander and continue to use it for more than fourteen
   days, then you must register your copy by sending 29.95 (UKP) to the
   address given below.
   In this case you will be entitled to receive the latest version and kept
   up to date with any future enhancements if you send a SAE and blank disc.
   You will also receive a copy of the full printed manual.
Your licence to use Disc Commander is terminated immediately if any of the above
conditions are broken. If in any doubt, you can contact me at the address below.
Once Disc Commander has been registered to you, it ceases to be SHAREWARE and
should not be copied, or distributed under any circumstances.
WHY THIS VERSION IS SHAREWARE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This version (v1.29 and above) is SHAREWARE for a couple of reasons. Firstly,
a number of people have contacted me asking for help recovering corrupted discs
and deleted files. Rather than keep sending out specifically time-coded demo
versions, or copies with various functions disabled, I thought I would release
the full, working program on a fourteen day trial period. This will enable people
to have the chance to recover important data without having to go out and buy a
complete disc recovery system for just one specific task, and also to enable users
to see the other features and abilities Disc Commander has to offer.
Although, I apologise for the lack of instructions with this version. A full,
printed manual is available to registered users and some, limited help is available
via Acorn's interactive help system. You are also more than welcome to contact me
for specific instructions on particular functions - although most of Disc Commander
was designed to be intuitive and self-descriptive to use anyway.

SUPPORT AND DISCLAIMER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A huge number of hours work has gone into the production of Disc Commander
and it is hoped that there are no bugs present. However, if you do have any
queries or suggestions regarding this application, please feel free to
contact me.
Please enclose SAE if you require a reply and tell me which version of
Commander you are currently using. If you are reporting a bug, please be as
descriptive as possible so that I may reproduce the error here.
However, no responsibility will be taken for any loss, damage or corruption
of data caused by direct or indirect use of Commander. Users use Commander
entirely at their own risk. You should make backup copies of any discs
containing important data before experimenting with Disc Commanders disc
editing functions.
of instruction. However, full instructions and usage guidelines are given in
the printed manual available to registered users.
