Installation

DigitalCD has been made 32-bit compatible but as been linked againts StubG
and so does NOT require Castle's version of the SharedCLibrary.

Mimemap file

Merge your mimemap file with the mapping listed in !DigitalCD.Docs.MimeTypes.
I strongly suggest to read the relevant section of the StrongHelp Manual,
it will prevent numerous problems and will allow you to open the above file
and the mimemap one by just clicking on the provided links.

Accepted Filetypes

!DCDRes.Setup is your private version of the setup file and DigitalCD will
never try to modify it. It could therefore be wise to check with each
new version of DigitalCD if modifications haven't been made in the default
list of filetypes proposed in !DigitalCD.Copy.Setup.

Iyonix incompatibilities

Some of the modules used by DigitalCD have not yet (or will never) be updated
to be 32-bit compatibles. These are:

DSymphonyPlayer, MatrixTRK, QTM, XprMod.

I suggest you use the TimPlayer module instead on the Iyonix.

ARMini, Beagleboard, etc.

The same incompatibilities applies as for the Iyonix but in addition
PlayIt 1.69 is not ARMv7 but ROOL have been entrusted with its sources
so I suggest that you keep an eye on the www.riscosopen.org website.

Upgrade from DigitalCD 2.53 or earlier

They are changes in the default Setup file (!DigitalCD.Copy.Setup) which you
may wish to reflect in your private copy (!DCDRes.Setup).

1. Ogg Vorbis files (.OGG) are now supported and use the official filetype 1A8.

2. PC Trackers files .IT, .XM, .S3M, .ULT, etc used the filetypes C02 to C05
documented in the famous alternative iconset from The XPerience demo group.
It appears however that these filetypes are officially allocated to other
types of documents, so the have now a new official filetype allocation.

   ImpulseTracker 1AE
   FastTracker 2 1AF
   ScreamTracker 3 1B0
   other PC trackers 1B1

Of course if you don't want to update the filetypes of all your thousands
of PC tracker files, just don't change anything and DigitalCD will work
   as before.
