   MANUAL
*********************************

For those who can read Dutch, a comprehensive and litery manual in PDF format with colourful illustrations is provided seperately (see www.riscos.sprie.nl).

For those who can't read Dutch, which seems to be more likely, there's still the possibility to run !Databeest and turn on the interactive Help. Loading the CD+MD database from the iconbar menu will give some clue about its possibilities, although a manual is probably essential to get the full grips.

   Versions prior to 1.75
*********************************

For those who are using older versions of Databeest (and I really mean both users!), it's wise to copy this new version to a different location. Since the internal coding is entirely different, old databeest files will not be recognised by this new version.
Please, export your old databases to a CSV file, after which they can be imported into the new version again.

   ABClibrary
*********************************

!Databeest is compiled with Castle's ABC compiler.
Therefore, you will need the ABClib module, in order to run Databeest.
ABClib is enclosed in this archive. If not already installed on your system, you should put it in System:310.Modules
