Cset converts between characters and their ASCII codes. This is an incredibly
simple application, but since I've started programming in the desktop (I guess
that makes me a complete quiche-eater!) I've been surprised how often I've had
need of such an application. Most people can remember the basic character set,
but I doubt whether many of you have the complete extended set memorised! Be
honest, how many times have you searched for the symbol? :-)

To convert from a character to an ASCII code simply click on the 'character'
icon and when it has the caret type in the character followed by Return. The
ASCII value will be displayed in the other icon. You can also enter an ASCII
value in the 'Ascii' icon and hit return so that the corresponding character
appears in the other icon.

I'll leave you to work out what the arrows do :-)

Known bugs:

Hopefully, None!

Planned Improvements:

Addition of Internal Character codes. Does anyone know if there is an OS
function to convert between ASCII and internal codes? I don't much fancy
the idea of typing in a complete look-up table!
