                              Cassette Inlay Card
                              +++++++++++++++++++

                              By Paul F. Johnson,
                                September 1998

What does this one do then?
===========================

Simply put, this version will allow you to enter your cassette inlay cards, save
them and then display them. You can then print them off as many times as you
wish.

You can enter 12 titles on both the A and B sides as well as the tape title and
artist. Max 20 characters per file.

Do I need anything special for this?
====================================

You MUST have the font families Homerton.Medium, Trinity.Medium, Trinity.Bold
and Trinity.Medium.Italic installed on your machine, that and the WimpBasic
runtime modules!.

Any machines you can't run this on?
===================================

Yes, anything prior to RiscOS 3.1

How do I do it then?
====================

The most important thing in this program is that you have selected if your
printer is monochrome or colour. This is done via the icon on the iconbar. By
default, it is set as colour. (It doesn't really matter if you have it on colour
with a monochrome printer, just the text may look a bit fuzzy!)

You can use the program in one of 2 ways.....

1. Double click on an inlay card file

This will start the program (or if the program is loaded, load the file). You
will then be presented with the inlay card. If you're happy with it, just press
either PRINT or select Print via the menu. You can still edit the inlay card
before printing (say if you've changed a track), then print (or save) if you
wish.

2. From scratch.

Load up the program in the normal fashion and click on the icon. You will be
presented with an editor screen for the track titles. Just enter the names. You
can move down the contents using the down arrow, or by clicking in the box. You
can miss boxes (to separate the titles) if you wish. To move to side B, select
the top box and select with the mouse. You can then just type.

When finised, press the DONE button. The window will close and present you with
another window for the side titles and artist(s). Enter them as before and press
DONE when finished. This window will then close.

A third window will then open, displaying the final inlay card.

Simple as that.

Coo, this is a good program, but what if I want......
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

(1) To do more than one card per piece of paper

You can't in this version (come on, it was knocked up in a hurry!)

(2) Bung a picture on the outside and tracks on the inside

See previous

(3) Do anything other than the titles and contents

See previous to the previous!

The next release of this program will include

.....a..... CD covers
.....b..... Loadable artwork (gif, jpeg, draw, sprite and artworks)
.....c..... Multiple inlay cards

God knows when it'll come out though!

Short cuts
==========

On the inlay card screen, you can short cut to save by pressing F3 and print
by pressing PRINT.
