Official release of the Extended BlockDriver Specification.

This distribution contains:

!Serial
   A serial port monitor, version 0.27 (07 Jul 2020).
   This is a small application that shows the serial ports currently
   in use on your machine, as well as an overview of all BlockDrivers
   known by the system.

!SerialDev
   Latest release of the BlockDrivers (store in !Boot.Resources).
   Release 0.19 of BlockDriver module.
   New release 2.19 of Internal32 driver for use with extra serial ports.
   SerialUSB 0.09 for use with Colin Granville's SerialUSB module 0.12 (included).

Changes
   Full version history of the various components.

Examples
   Some examples to demonstrate the use of the BlockDrivers from the
   BASIC and C programming languages.


Notes about using additional internal serial ports
--------------------------------------------------
Release 2.19 of the Internal32 blockdriver contains support for all internal
serial ports on a RISC OS computer, as long as the additional ports are
visible through DeviceFS.

Using USB-to-Serial adapters
----------------------------
Colin Granville has release the SerialUSB module, that supports a number
of USB-to-Serial adapters with a CH340, CP210x, PL2303, FTDI or CDC  chipset.
A suitable BlockDriver (also names SerialUSB) is included in this distribution.
