ReadMe for AntUtils Sound Effects Themes packs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Firstly.... You have no need to read this if you are a registered user.
Registered users can download the !Advanced configuration utility, which
allows you to select the theme you require from a standard RISC OS menu.
To find out how you can register your copy of AntUtils, please read the
main AntUtils !Help file.
Secondly - a WARNING!!! Some of the sound effects theme packs may contain
adult language (eg. the South Park one). Please don't blame me for the
content of some of the additional theme packs. ;-)
Sound FX Directory Structure and files
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AntUtils stores all it's sound effects in a directory called SoundFX,
inside the main AntUtils directory. This contains twenty sound samples
(usually in .WAV format, if playing with PlayIt or in Armadeus format
if playing with FPlay), a sound theme 'name file' called !Theme and the
directory containing additional themes - !Themes.

!Theme is a simple text file containing the name of the theme. DO NOT
alter this because it is used internally to calculate which theme is
currently in use.

!Themes contains additional theme packs in the form of ordinary
directories, each containing the twenty sound samples and the !Theme name
file.

The default theme is called 'Default'.

Changing Theme
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you don't have the !Advanced configuration utility you can edit the
current theme by hand, but you need to be careful that you keep the
directory structure correct.
By default the 'Default' directory inside the !Themes FX store directory
will only contain the name file (used as a directory marker). This is
because all the default (current) sound samples are 'moved' into the
'parent' SoundFX directory when in use.
To change theme you need to MOVE all the sound samples back into their
original 'master' directory inside !Themes.
Next, you need to MOVE all the samples from the required theme into the
SoundFX directory.
Lastly, you need to COPY the !Theme text file from the new theme into
the SoundFX directory, replacing the previous one.
This process of events needs to be followed EXACTLY, or AntUtils is
likely to go wrong when it tries to locate a sound effect file.
The easiest method is to register AntUtils and obtain the !Advanced
plugin. :-)
Have fun.
