  Analog 5.31/RISCOS
  ==================

  Installation
  ------------

Just copy the !Analog application somewhere where it is seen by the filer.
I keep my copy in !Boot.Resources which seems a good place to me. After
copying it there, double-click on it, to set the paths right. You won't have
to do this everytime, just for the first time after copying it there.

  Usage
  -----

For general information of how to use Analog, please refer to the supplied
documentation. I have supplied my own analog/cfg file that I use. You may
have a look at it and steal it for your purpose.

Copy your web server log files (say, they're called 2001-01, 2001-02, ...)
to a convenient place, open a TaskWindow and type ...

  *analog 2001-01 2001-05

... if you want a statistic for January any May together (why you'd want
that is beyond me though ;-)

In this new version you can as well use wildcards:

  *analog 2001-*

... in order to generate a report for the whole year 2001.

From Analog 5.30 on you can even use gzipped logs as input.

The resulting report is (by default) put in the current selected directory
and a directory with the charts (if you choose to generate them) is created,
but you can specify this in the config file as well.
